Thermal, Calif. - In the last qualifying session of the Winter Invitational at The Thermal Club's Touring Car classes, Lara Tallman blazed the Southern California course to capture the top spot for Sunday's Round 6 of competition.
Tallman took her #3 Rearden Racing Nissan 270Z TC through the paces with a fast lap of 2:17.988-seconds around the 2.91-mile configuration to secure the win in her quest for a weekend sweep.
Representing the AutoTechnic Racing BMW contingent, driver Bruce Robson captured P2 in his #21 BMW M240iR with a 2:24.126-second fast circuit.
Round 5 podium sitter and Robson's teammate Rob Slonaker, in his #20 BMW M240iR machine, took the first spot on the second row of the grid with his 2:24.219-second best lap.
Racers compete in the sixth and final round Sunday when the green flag drops at 11:35 am local time.
