DEEP DIVE

How was COTA?
COTA was a great weekend for us. We were really confident in the pace of our Hyundai Veloster N TCR car going into the weekend and I think we showed the pace we believed we had. We left the weekend with two wins!

How did you get into racing?
I got into racing through my dad. He used to race cars at the club level and one weekend we decided to go to a local track and that's where I tried a kart for the first time and haven't looked back since.

What is your favorite racing memory?
My favorite racing memory is winning the TCA championship last year. It was my first professional racing championship and to win it in my rookie year made it really special.

How is it driving the Hyundai Veloster N TCR this year?
The Hyundai Veloster N is great. It's really fast and Hyundai has built a great platform for us to compete for a championship this year.

How do you manage high school while traveling for racing?
It's definitely a challenge. I do online school so I have the flexibility in my schedule, and I can work from anywhere. It is definitely a challenge to balance racing and school when I’m at the track.
