KMW Motorsports with TMR Engineering Optimistic in TC America Return at VIR

Roy Block and KMW Motorsports with TMR Engineering return to VIRginia International Raceway this weekend to compete in the #5 BMW M2 CS. Block currently sits second in the TCX class championship standings ahead of Rounds 5 and 6 of the 2021 TC America Powered by Skip Barber Racing School season.

In 2020, VIR marked the series’ return to racing following the months-long hiatus due to the coronavirus pandemic. Block narrowly missed the podium that weekend – finishing fourth in Race 2 while competing in the TCR class – and looks to improve this weekend.

The doubleheader will feature the highest car count for TCX so far in 2021, and Block is one of only two drivers in the class who competed in TC America at the VIR event last year.

“I think we are at a place in developing the BMW that I feel we can compete for a podium,” said Block. “I am grateful we get the opportunity to race a full schedule this year and I am very excited to see fans in-person at various races. We’re looking forward to VIR this weekend!”
