- Provisional Results
Elkhart Lake, Wisconsin - The TC America Series powered by Skip Barber had its qualifying session on a dry track, but under the constant threat of rain as the teams were faced with significantly cooler temperatures than yesterday. All the drivers across TCX, TC and TCA classes only had a mere 15 minute session on the long Road America track to try to claim pole position ahead of Race 1 later this afternoon.
The session was interrupted by a red flag, so that only 3-4 laps could be completed by most of the 29 drivers.
TCX
Lucas Catania, driving the #26 Rigid Speed BMW M2 CS (Cup), was the first leader of the session before series newcomer Michael Kanisczak in his #97 Random Vandals Racing BMW M2 CS (Cup) took the pole position with a time of 2:25.358. Kanisczack, who is debuting with the Random Vandals Racing team, will be joined on the front row by Colin Garrett in the #44 Rooster Hall Racing BMW M2 CS (Cup). It was a mere 0.010 second separating the two. Stephen Cugliari in his #57 Accelerating Performance BMW M2 CS (Cup) rounded out the Top 3, just 0.027 seconds from pole.
The #1 Fast Track Racing BMW M2 CS (Cup) machine of championship leader and 2021 champion Jacob Ruud was fourth, ahead of Brett Scroggin in his #51 Homewrecker Racing BMW M2 CS (Cup).
TC
TC class championship leader Kevin Boehm added another pole position to his tally. The #9 CrowdStrike Racing by Skip Barber Racing Honda Civic Type-R driver laid down an impressive time of 2:27.178, more than a full second ahead of his next closest rival, Jeff Ricca in his #2 Genracer / Ricca Autosport Hyundai Veloster N TC. Clay Williams, driving his #60 Mini JCW Team JCW Pro, Celso Neto (#8 VGRT Honda Civic Type-R) and Ken Fukuda (#42 Skip Barber Racing Honda Civic Type-R) rounded out the Top 5.
TCA

Perocarpi put in a lap time of 2:36.307, more than half a second faster than Gresham Wagner commanding his #21 TechSport Racing Subaru BRZ, who set the fastest times in both practice sessions yesterday.
