Sebring, Florida - The TC America Series powered by Skip Barber field took to the track early Saturday morning for the qualifying session. Drivers were met with dry conditions and slightly cooler temperatures than during the Friday practice sessions. Competitors across all TCX, TC, and TCA classes had a short 15-minute window to set their flying laps and make their bid for pole position ahead of Race 1 later this afternoon.

A red flag late in the session interrupted the last few minutes of qualifying, preventing drivers from setting their final laps.

The TCX class remained competitive as ever, with drivers swapping positions across the board. Similar to the practice sessions, it soon became clear that the battle for pole position would come down to Colin Garrett, driving the #44 Rooster Hall Racing BMW M2 CS (Cup), and Lucas Catania in the #26 Rigid Speed BMW M2 CS (Cup). In the end, it was Colin Garrett who ultimately claimed pole position, with an untouchable time of 2.18.499. Catania settled for second, 0.330 seconds off the top time. Garrett Adams finalized the Top 3, bringing his #54 Fast Track Racing BMW M2 CS (Cup) into a comfortable position ahead of Race 1. Championship leader Jacob Ruud (#1 Fast Track Racing BMW M2 CS (Cup)) qualified in fourth position, but the seasoned driver has proven that he can fight for the win from any position on the grid.  Ruud is hoping to clinch the championship this weekend.

It was none other than championship leader Kevin Boehm who took pole position in the TC class. He set a rapid lap time of 2.21.917 on board the #9 CrowdStrike Racing by Skip Barber Racing Honda Civic Type-R. After looking slightly off the pace in the second practice session, Boehm proved once again that he can put the pedal to the metal when it matters most. Matthew Ibrahim will line up second on the grid for Race 1 in the #6 DRS & Garagistic BMW M240iR. Clay Williams followed closely behind in third, and he will be aiming to do everything he can in his #60 Mini JCW Pro TC to secure another podium for the Mini JCW Team.

After some relatively quiet practice session performances, Gresham Wagner proved that looks can be deceiving as he stormed to the front of the TCA field in the #21 TechSport Racing Subaru BRZ. He currently sits second in the class championship and will need to maintain his concentration in order to keep his competitors behind in the race. Devin Anderson (#22 Techsport Subaru BRZ), who is currently just behind Wagner in the championship, qualified in second position for Race 1. After finishing second in five races this season, Anderson will be keen to contend for the win. Crowds can expect a heated on-track battle between the two frontrunners Saturday afternoon. Cristian Perocarpi (#61 Team MINI JCW) has been on a hot streak, having won three of the last four races, rounds off the Top 3 in the class.

Race 1 starts at 1:05 PM ET.
