The TC America Powered by Skip Barber field were hungry for more as they returned to the track for Practice 2 in the early afternoon. The bright sunshine and rising heat were a stark contrast in comparison to the overcast skies from the morning session, giving drivers an extra challenge to account for as they began to finalize their packages ahead of qualifying tomorrow.

As the track got hotter, drivers continued to carry their momentum across the 30-minute session, which ran uninterrupted and showed great promise for what’s on the horizon.

TCX

Although Dai Yoshihara topped the charts for the majority of the session in the No.99 VGRT Honda Civic Type-R TCX, it was Lucas Catania who swooped in during the final minutes in order to secure the best time of 2:24.666 on board his No. 26 Rigid Speed Company BMW M2 CS (Cup). Yoshihara was therefore left to settle for second place, sitting just a mere 0.223 seconds behind.

This morning’s leader Colin Garrett followed suit in third place with the No. 44 Rooster Hall Racing BMW M2 CS (Cup). Maddie Aust, who was the runner-up in Practice 1, slotted into fourth place in Practice 2, equipped with the No. 09 Fast Track Racing BMW M2 CS (Cup). Fellow Fast Track Racing driver Adam Gleason completed the Top 5 with his No. 21 BMW M2 CS (Cup).

TC

After finishing the opening practice session in third, it soon became clear that Cristian Perocarpi had more speed to come as he clinched the top spot in the TC class as he commandeered the No. 37 MINI JCW Team Mini JCW Pro TC. His teammate, Clayton Williams, joined alongside him in second place on board the No. 60 MINI JCW Team Mini JCW Pro TC.

Michael Hurczyn proved his consistency and found himself in the Top 3 once again in the No. 8 VGRT Honda Civic Type-R. Fourth place went to Sally McNulty in the No. 780 Genracer Hyundai Veloster N DCT TC, with Celso Neto rounding off the session in fifth place in his No. 7 Skip Barber Racing School Honda Civic Type-R.

TCA

It was a TechSport Racing sandwich in the TCA class, with Devin Anderson bringing home top honors in his No. 22 Subaru BRZ, and teammate Shaoyi Che in third in the No. 23 Subaru BRZ sister car. Between them sat Canadian driver P.J. Groenke behind the wheel of the 62 MINI JCW Team Mini JCW.

Class championship leader Spencer Bucknum followed in fourth place in the No. 5 LA Honda World Racing Honda Civic Si FE1, with William Lambros closing out the final practice session in fifth place with the No. 77 Skip Barber Racing School Honda Civic Si FE1.
