Following the summer break, the TC America powered by Skip Barber Racing School championship continues its 2025 campaign with rounds eight and nine at the picturesque and demanding VIRginia International Raceway. Known for its fast, flowing layout and classic natural terrain, VIR will host two 25-minute races as the sprint action ramps up heading into the back half of the season.
With a competitive entry list lined up for VIR, including some familiar faces making their return, fans can expect thrilling wheel-to-wheel battles and high-speed drama around every corner of this storied Southern circuit.
The weekend is set to be part of a packed SRO America event schedule, featuring over 100 entries across six series, bringing non-stop on-track excitement, fan activities, open paddock access, and immersive family-friendly experiences.
Hyundai
Sebring bore witness to a weekend sweep from Ricca Autosport and Hyundai, clinching all three race wins in the triple header event. Team Owner and driver Jeff Ricca has built up a large points advantage over the rest of the field in the championship, and it remains to be seen if another challenger will arise. Notably, Eric Kunz earned his first podium finish last time out in Florida, while a new name joins the Ricca Autosport camp with the likes of Andre Castro.

Mazda
Mazda makes its return to the grid at VIR with a pair of Mazda 3 TC entries from FTG Racing. Both Joey Jordan and Sally McNulty are no strangers to the championship, each having earned podium finishes during the 2024 season. McNulty, in particular, impressed with a strong and consistent campaign last year, ultimately securing third place in the TC class standings.

Toyota
