- Ricca Autosport Shows Dominance with Four Entries in Top 5
- Neudorf Leads the Charge for Toyota
- Provisional Qualifying Results
Qualifying for the TC America powered by Skip Barber Racing School series delivered a flurry of late-session drama at Road America, but it was Jeff Ricca who stamped his authority on the field around the National Park of Speed, leading the fifteen-minute session from start to finish.
Ricca was the first to post a top flying lap on board the No. 78 Ricca Autosport Hyundai Elantra N1 TC EVO and never relinquished the top spot, ultimately securing pole position with a best time of 2:27.627.
Early in the session, PJ Groenke slotted into second with his No. 76 Ricca Autosport Hyundai, with Jonathan Neudorf initially leading the Toyota charge in third with the No. 4 JMF Motorsports Toyota GR Corolla TC. Close behind, Ricca Autosport teammates Eric Kunz and Justin Gravett rounded out the initial top five, keeping the battle tight among the front-runners.
With under five minutes to go, Gravett launched a strong lap to take over second place, only to be immediately displaced by Neudorf. However, the order shifted again on the final flying lap as Gravett surged back into P2 with his No. 74 machine, while Groenke reclaimed third. From there, Neudorf settled into fourth, and Kunz completed the top five with the No. 77.
Ricca’s commanding pace, paired with the close fight behind, sets the stage for a thrilling opening race of the weekend at the Crown Coins Casino GT World at Road America.
