Momentum Builds for TC America Ahead of Barber Tripleheader

After a thrilling pair of races at Road America, the TC America powered by Skip Barber Racing School championship continues its 2025 campaign with the return of a tripleheader at the UAB Medicine GT World Alabama benefiting Teal Wings of Hope. Rounds twelve, thirteen, and fourteen will take place at Barber Motorsports Park from September 5th to 7th. The Alabama circuit, often referred to as “The Augusta National of Motorsports,” is known for its sweeping corners, elevation changes, and scenic backdrop.

The weekend is part of a busy SRO America lineup, featuring five different series, offering fans non-stop action, open paddock access, and immersive family-friendly experiences. Adding to the excitement, Barber will also mark the return of the Hyundai N Trophy Cup, bringing even more close competition to the program.

Hyundai 

Ricca Autosport arrives in Birmingham riding high after a dominant showing at Road America. Jeff Ricca swept both races on the four-mile Wisconsin circuit, extending his championship lead, while the team also swept the podium in Race 1 with a statement performance. With strength in numbers and momentum on their side, Ricca Autosport will be one to watch at Barber.

Mazda 

FTG Racing continues to build momentum in 2025, showcasing flashes of pace while searching for consistent results. Joey Jordan returns with his Mazda 3 TC entry, eager to put together a strong points haul at Barber. He will be joined by to be announced driver. With the technical, flowing corners suiting the balance of the Mazda, the Alabama circuit could provide the breakthrough the team has been working toward.

Toyota

Toyota’s performance in TC America continues to grow, with Jonathan Neudorf adding to his VIR success by claiming another podium in Race 2 at Road America. Partnered with Antonio Costantino at JMF Motorsports and James Klimas of Skip Barber Racing, the Toyota GR Corolla TC camp has shown it can consistently challenge the Hyundais at the front. Barber’s mix of flowing corners and short straights offers another chance for the GR Corolla to shine.
