A Year of Growth and Innovation for SRO America in 2025

SRO Motorsports America is celebrating a season of exceptional audience growth in 2025, marked by soaring digital engagement, expanded event attendance, and the launch of a groundbreaking new live-streaming experience. It was a pivotal year for the organization as it continues to invest in innovation, increased accessibility, and a fan-first approach to technological advancements.

SRO America’s reach surged to new heights in 2025, with over 1 billion social impressions delivered across its digital platforms. Livestreaming, which is powered seamlessly on AWS Elemental, has long been a cornerstone of SRO’s global content strategy, also saw record numbers:

  • 5.2 million livestream views across all series
  • 67.8 million livestream impressions
  • 40% year-over-year growth in livestream viewership
  • 110% increase in livestream impressions
  • 1000% surge in social engagement

AWS continues to play an integral role in the growth and development of SRO’s digital presence. In addition to delivering high-quality, low-latency global livestreams, the broadcasts are further enhanced with AWS Race Vision insights, bringing richer and more dynamic real-time performance data to audiences. Additionally, AWS’ cloud computing capabilities have bolstered social engagement and storylines with instantaneous updates, live clipping, and heightened content offerings.

On-site fan interest surged even more dramatically. SRO America race weekends welcomed a total of 140,000 spectators in 2025, representing a 414% increase in attendance since 2021. The growth reflects the series’ strengthened event experience, expanded on-site fan zones, and its increasingly diverse paddock of teams, manufacturers, and categories.

The organization also advanced its digital strategy in 2025 with the launch of a brand-new multi-viewer streaming experience, developed in partnership with Vbrick and GPX Stream. The platform debuted mid-season at VIRginia International Raceway, with the innovative system allowing viewers to:

  • Seamlessly switch between multiple onboard camera feeds in real time
  • Watch the race broadcast and interactive live leaderboards simultaneously
  • Engage with Twitch chat directly within the multi-viewer interface
  • Experience a level of control previously unavailable in North American motorsports streaming

The partnership between SRO America, Vbrick, GPX Stream, Sony, and AWS underscores a broader commitment to innovation across the motorsports landscape. As opposed to many other streaming services utilized by other series, Vbrick is not blocked behind a paywall, therefore making it completely accessible to global audiences. The enhanced streaming capabilities and data-driven tools not only elevate the fan experience but also:

  • Strengthen live broadcast production
  • Improve data insights for teams
  • Enhance series operations
  • Expand the digital reach of GT World Challenge America

With record-setting growth and technology initiatives that continue to push boundaries, SRO Motorsports America is poised to carry its momentum into 2026 and beyond, delivering more access, more content, and more immersive experiences than ever before.
