TC America Powers Into 2026 Season at Sonoma Raceway

TC America powered by Skip Barber Racing opens its 2026 season at Sonoma Raceway, ushering in an exciting new phase for the championship. Building on its streamlined single-class structure introduced last year, the series now adopts a 35-minute sprint race format which will set the stage for tighter, more aggressive racing across the field.

With a competitive mix of manufacturers and a healthy mix on the grid of new and returning teams and drivers, the Sonoma opener promises to deliver intense battles as contenders look to gain an early advantage in the championship fight. 
 
Acura  
 
Acura arrives at Sonoma with a strong three-car lineup, with Skip Barber Racing leading the effort with two entries, fielding Dean Lambros in the No. 7 and Logan Anderson in the No. 25. Precision Racing LA adds a third Acura to the grid, with Mike Lamarra piloting the No. 73 entry. Together, the trio gives Acura solid representation as the season gets underway.

BMW 
 
BMW’s presence on the Sonoma entry list comes from DRS, which fields the No. 53 BMW M2 CS (Cup) for Robert Bellevue, with increased representation with the all-new BMW M2 expected at future events.

Hyundai

Hyundai once again brings one of the most robust lineups to TC America, with Ricca Autosport spearheading a multi-car effort. The team fields a mix of Elantra N1 TC EVO and EVO/VO machinery, also including an entry under the Fawn Group MS by Ricca Autosport banner. With several cars on the grid, Hyundai’s depth and proven performance make it a strong contender as the championship begins.

Toyota  

Toyota returns with JMF Motorsports fielding a two-car lineup of GR Corolla TC entries, but with a refreshed driver lineup. Jesse Dorkin and Braydon Arthur will pilot the Nos. 3 and 4 entries, respectively, as the team looks to build on a strong finish to the 2025 season. Carrying that momentum into Sonoma, JMF Motorsports is well-positioned to challenge at the front from the outset.
