Elkhart Lake, WI - Scott Smithson kept Honda machinery on top in Thursday afternoon’s TC America practice session 2 with a fastest lap of 2:21.629 in the #17 DXDT Racing Honda Civic Type-R TCR.
Session 1 pace-setter Victor Gonzalez Jr was second quickest in the #99 VGMC Honda Civic Type-R with Tim Lewis Jr and the #55 KMW Motorsports w/ TMR Engineering Alfa Romeo Giulietta third.
James Clay and the #36 BimmerWorld BMW M240iR were the leaders once again in the TC division with a best lap time of 2:29.235. Toby Grahovec and the #26 Classic BMW M240iR went second fastest with championship leader Johan Schwartz and the #31 Hard Motorsport BMW M240iR third.
Mark Pombo and the #61 MINI JCW Team MINI Cooper led the way in TCA with a best lap of 2:37.700. Kevin Boehm and the #9 Boehm Racing Honda Civic Si ran the second fastest lap of the sesion with PJ Groenke and the #25 TechSport Racing Subaru BRZ tS third.
