The TCX Drivers have been busy entertaining the masses this season with nail-biting finishes. The TC America powered by Skip Barber series has six races remaining in the season and drivers will be pushing for the Drivers Points Championship until the final checkered flag waves.

Colin Garrett is leading the way with 149 points in the standings with the No. 44 Rooster Hall Racing BMW M2 CS. He won Race One at Sonoma Raceway and Race Two at COTA. In addition, he has taken home four second-place finishes and one third-place finish. His lowest finish of the eight races is fourth. His consistency has led to domination.

“Having the lead since Race One this year has been nice, I feel like we picked up right where we left off last year in TCX with Rooster Hall Racing,” Garrett said. “However, there’s still a lot of races left so you have to reset. I go into every weekend with the mentality that I’m behind in points, and we must extract everything from that weekend. If you get comfortable with your lead, that’s when problems happen.”

Lucas Catania has collected 116 points in eight races to place him second in the championship run with the No. 26 Rigid Speed Company BMW M2 CS. Catania won Race One at COTA but always keeps it close with two second-place finishes and three third-place finishes. Two bouts of rough racing kept him off the podium and close to competitors in the points standings.

Maddie Aust in the No. 09 Fast Track Racing BMW M2 CS is a rookie in the series and joined in the fun at NOLA Motorsports Park. She doesn’t look like the rookie in the field as she always finds herself in the mix out front. She swept the weekend at VIR and earned a second and third-place finish at COTA giving her a total of 105 points.

Kyle Loh has been a spectacular talent in the field with his No. 73 LA Honda World Racing Honda Civic Type R. Loh has 90 points and is fourth in the standings. He won Race Two at Sonoma Raceway and NOLA. He finishes third in Race One at Sonoma Raceway and Race Two at COTA. He missed out on the two rounds of racing at VIR.

Sitting in fifth is Adam Gleason with 80 points. Gleason earned his first podium in Race One at VIR. He has come close to many more podium finishes as he has come in fourth in four races. Gleason will use his podium momentum as the series starts its end-of-season push.

Joseph Catania has earned 71 points in his seven race starts. Race One at VIR gave him his first podium of the season with a third-place finish. With only nine points separating him and Gleason it's very possible for Catania to make moves forward in the points standing.

Professional athlete Dai Yoshihara joined the TC America series to try his hand at road racing in the No. 99 VGRT Honda Civic Type R. It has been a season of ups and downs for Yoshihara as he continues to build his race craft. He won Race One at NOLA and is in search for his next podium moment. Yoshihara sits seventh with 61 points.

In eighth place is Kenny Schmeid who has competed in seven races this season. He has 50 points in total as he searches for his first podium and win. Christopher DeFreitas has collected 22 points in the four races he participated in and sits in ninth.

William Tally is 10th in the standings having collected 14 points in two rounds of racing. Nick Roberts rounds out the Driver Points Standings in 11th with 12 points after competing at COTA.
