- Jonathan Neudorf Goes Quickest for JMF Motorsports
- Toyota and Hyundai Set the Pace
- Practice 2 Results
The TC America powered by Skip Barber field returned to the track in the early afternoon for Practice 2, with the scattered showers taking a brief break to allow for some more fast laps as the competitors continued to get up to speed with the championship’s new format.
Jeff Ricca and Jonathan Neudorf resumed their back-and-forth fight for the fastest time in their respective No. 78 Ricca Autosport Hyundai Elantra N1 TC and No. 4 JMF Motorsports Toyota GR Corolla TC. While Ricca held the advantage in the opening laps, Neudorf went on to go faster. Once again, there was barely anything separating the two, with only 0.012 seconds between them.
However, a red flag interrupted the on-track action due to a car stopped on track, bringing the 25-minute session to an early close as it did not resume.
The rest of the Ricca Autosport team had a strong showing, claiming the third and fifth quickest times. CJ Sepulveda showed his consistency with the No. 77 Ricca Autosport Hyundai Elantra N1 TC EVO, finishing third, while last year’s TCA champion PJ Groenke rounded off the Top 5 in the No. 76 entry. Between them in fourth sat Antonio Costantino in the No. 3 JMF Motorsports Toyota GR Corolla TC, moving up one position from his performance earlier in Practice 1.
