2025 TC America Champion Ricca Leads the Way in Opening Practice at Indianapolis Motor Speedway

The TC America powered by Skip Barber Racing School championship roared to life at the iconic Indianapolis Motor Speedway for the first practice session of the weekend. Under a beautiful sunrise and perfect track conditions, competitors wasted no time getting up to speed around the legendary Brickyard, swapping positions in a tight 25-minute session that set the tone for what’s to come.

Early in the session, Antonio Constantino in the No. 4 JMF Motorsports Toyota GR Corolla TC established himself at the top of the charts, followed closely by James Klimas in the No. 61 Skip Barber Racing Toyota GR Corolla TC. As the clock ticked down, Connor Attrell aboard the No. 75 Ricca Autosport Hyundai Elantra N1 TC EVO climbed into third, making it a three-way fight for the top spot heading into the second half of the session.

With just over ten minutes to go, Klimas briefly took over the lead, edging out Constantino and Jeff Ricca in the No. 78 Ricca Autosport Hyundai Elantra N1 TC EVO. The battle continued to tighten as Dean Lambros in the No. 17 Skip Barber Racing School Acura Integra Type S and Attrell rounded out the top five.

In the closing minutes, Ricca surged to the top of the timesheets, securing the fastest lap of the session with a 1:37.836. Klimas settled into second, 0.139 from pole position, with Canadian PJ Groenke in the No. 76 Ricca Autosport Hyundai completing a strong showing for the Ricca Autosport team in third. Constantino and Lambros completed the top five at the checkered flag.

With the weekend just beginning, the early pace at Indianapolis suggests another thrilling chapter in the TC America powered by Skip Barber Racing School season.
