SRO Motorsports America is proud to announce that Skip Barber Racing School will continue as the title sponsor of the TC America series, extending the highly successful partnership that began in 2021 into the 2026 season and beyond.
Since being named the title partner of TC America, Skip Barber Racing School has played an integral role in supporting one of the most accessible and competitive touring car platforms in North American racing. The renewed, multi-year agreement reaffirms a shared commitment to driver development, close competition, and clear pathways from grassroots racing to the professional ranks.
The TC America championship showcases production-based touring cars across multiple classes, providing a cost-effective and competitive environment for emerging talent, amateur racers, and experienced drivers alike. Skip Barber Racing School’s continued involvement aligns naturally with the series’ mission, as both organizations focus on education, progression, and cultivating the next generation of racers.
Since 1975, Skip Barber Racing School has been a cornerstone of driver training in North America, with alumni spanning nearly every major form of motorsport. As title sponsor, Skip Barber Racing School remains deeply connected to the TC America paddock, reinforcing the series’ role as a critical step in the motorsports ladder. Through their continuous support, numerous previous TC America champions and competitors have gone on to find further success in the SRO America paddock, moving up into other championships such as Pirelli GT4 America and GT World Challenge America powered by AWS.
The 2026 championship season will see the series return to a doubleheader format, with two 35-minute contests over the course of a race weekend. The single-class structure, which was introduced in 2025, will remain consistent in order to offer a more streamlined and cost-effective platform while sharpening the competitive focus among a diverse range of performance brands.
“Our partnership with SRO America and our title sponsorship of TC America has provided countless opportunities for our alumni and partners,” Skip Barber Racing School CEO Anthony DeMonte said. “With TC America powered by the Skip Barber Racing School, we’ve expanded the footprint of our race team and opened the door for new brands to immerse themselves in motorsports. Our ability to offer a smooth transition from our Racing School to our professional race team is unmatched and SRO America is central to that.”
The partnership extension ensures continuity and stability for the championship as TC America continues to grow alongside SRO America’s broader portfolio, delivering high-quality racing and meaningful opportunities for drivers, teams, and partners.
