TC America Midseason Championship Standings

TC America Midseason Championship Standings

Four race weekends are in the books, and the 2026 TC America season has already delivered its fair share of momentum swings and multi-manufacturer battles. With three stops remaining on the calendar and valuable championship points still up for grabs, the hunt for championship titles remains incredibly compelling as the margins stay slim.

Driver Championship

Ricca Autosport's Andre Castro enters the second half of the season as the TC class championship leader with 153 points. Consistency has been the defining characteristic of Castro's campaign. Through eight races, he has collected three victories and has only finished outside the top three once, a very strong run that has allowed him to establish a narrow advantage in the standings. One of the defining moments of his season came at Sebring, where Castro delivered a flawless performance by sweeping both races of the doubleheader weekend.

In addition to leading the overall TC standings, Castro also sits atop the Hyundai N Trophy Cup championship with 93 points, further highlighting the strength of his 2026 campaign.

JMF Motorsports driver Braydon Arthur remains Castro's closest challenger with 143 points, just ten behind the championship leader. Arthur appeared to be the early favorite for the title after an exceptional start to the season. He claimed victory in the opening race at Sonoma before dominating the Circuit of The Americas weekend with a clean sweep, establishing himself as the driver to beat through the opening rounds.

However, his championship challenge suffered a significant blow at Sebring. Mechanical issues struck during both races, resulting in a pair of retirements and a costly zero-point weekend.  Arthur responded in emphatic fashion at Road Atlanta, returning to the top step of the podium with another weekend sweep, immediately reestablishing himself as a serious championship contender.

Sitting third in the standings is Castro's Ricca Autosport teammate Justin Gravett with 113 points. Across the opening eight races, he has amassed five podium finishes, keeping himself firmly in contention and helping Ricca Autosport remain a major force in the TC paddock.

Manufacturer Championship

The battle among manufacturers remains closely contested, with Toyota currently leading the standings on 173 points. Toyota's strength across multiple entries has allowed the manufacturer to build a narrow advantage over Hyundai, which sits second with 156 points.

With both brands represented by championship contenders at the front of the field, the manufacturers' title battle is expected to remain competitive through the final rounds of the season.

Team Championship

JMF Motorsports holds the advantage in the teams' championship at the midway point of the season. Powered largely by Braydon Arthur's race-winning pace and multiple weekend sweeps, JMF has established itself as one of the benchmark operations in TC America competition.

Ricca Autosport remains close behind, however, with the combined efforts of championship leader Andre Castro and consistent podium finisher Justin Gravett keeping the team firmly in contention for top honors.
