After two practice sessions earlier in the day, the TC America powered by Skip Barber Racing School field were ready to take off around Road America for qualifying in order to set the grid ahead of Race 1 on Friday morning. A red flag interrupted the fifteen minute session, with the order being set with only a couple of flying laps. In the end, it was Braydon Arthur who stood above the rest and earned the ROWE Pole Position Award.
It was a strong qualifying session for the JMF Motorsports crew, with championship contender Braydon Arthur setting a time of 2:25.538 on board his No. 4 Toyota GR Corolla TC to score himself yet another pole position this season, the perfect way to return from the summer break. Michai Stephens, who is taking over driving duties for the sister No. 3 Toyota this weekend, made it an all-JMF Motorsports front row by qualifying second.
Andre Castro will line up directly behind Arthur, slotting into third in his No. 77 Ricca Autosport Hyundai Elantra N1 TC EVO as he looks to keep a firm grip over his championship lead. He will be accompanied by teammate Justin Gravett alongside him on the second row in the No. 8 machine, with fellow Ricca Autosport driver Matan Rosenberg just behind in fifth with his No. 78 Hyundai.
