The TC America championship will come down to the final two races of the 2026 season, with Ricca Autosport’s Andre Castro and JMF Motorsports’ Braydon Arthur separated by just eight points heading into the Indianapolis Motor Speedway doubleheader finale.
After a season-long battle that has seen the momentum swing repeatedly between the two title contenders, Castro enters the final weekend with the advantage. But with two races remaining at the Brickyard, Arthur remains firmly within striking distance as the championship reaches its conclusion.
Driver’s Championship
Ricca Autosport's Andre Castro currently leads the driver's championship with 217 points, holding an eight-point advantage over JMF Motorsports' Braydon Arthur, who enters the finale with 209. While the Hyundai driver enters Indy with recent momentum on his side, the championship fight has shifted direction several times throughout the season.
Castro established himself as the early frontrunner, scoring a victory at Sonoma before adding two more wins at Sebring. His consistency has been just as important as his victories, with the Ricca Autosport driver recording at least one podium finish at every event of the season.
Arthur, meanwhile, suffered a major setback at Sebring when mechanical failures in both races left him with a scoreless weekend and a significant points deficit to overcome, but the JMF Motorsports driver responded in emphatic fashion.
Arthur launched a championship charge at Road Atlanta, sweeping both races before doing the same at Road America. The consecutive double victories dramatically reshaped the standings and moved Arthur into the championship lead heading into the later stages of the season.
At the most recent event, a mechanical issue in Race 1 prevented Castro from maximizing his points haul, but he bounced back to win Race 2. That victory proved crucial, allowing him to reclaim the championship lead and enter Indianapolis with an eight-point cushion.
Now, with just two races left, every position will count as the pair battle for the TC America driver's championship crown.
Team & Manufacturer’s Championship
The battle at the front extends beyond the driver's championship, with Toyota and Hyundai also separated by a relatively narrow margin heading into the finale.
Toyota currently leads the manufacturer's championship with 256 points, while Hyundai sits second with 242. The team championship is also similarly close, as JMF Motorsports holds the advantage with 247 points, while Ricca Autosport follows with 242.
Hyundai N Trophy Cup
Andre Castro has also established himself as the driver to beat in the Hyundai N Trophy Cup. The Ricca Autosport driver enters the Indianapolis finale with 173 points, giving him an 18-point advantage over teammate Justin Gravett, who sits second with 155.
With two races remaining, Gravett will look to close the gap while Castro aims to cap his championship campaign with another title.
