The Hyundai N Trophy Cup is set to reach its conclusion at Indianapolis Motor Speedway, with the final two rounds of the 2026 season determining who will claim the championship-within-a-championship crown.
With two races remaining, Andre Castro holds the advantage in the standings, leading the way with 173 points aboard the No. 77 Ricca Autosport Hyundai Elantra N1 TC EVO. However, with teammate Justin Gravett sitting just 18 points behind, the battle for Hyundai’s top honors is far from settled.
Castro has been a consistent front-runner throughout the 2026 campaign, establishing himself as the top-scoring Hyundai competitor in both rounds at Circuit of The Americas, as well as Race 1 at Road Atlanta, Race 2 at Road America and Race 2 at Barber Motorsports Park.
The No. 77 driver has also finished as the runner-up Hyundai competitor on two additional occasions, at Road Atlanta and Road America. His only finish outside the top three in the Hyundai N Trophy Cup standings came in Race 1 at Barber, where a mechanical failure disrupted an otherwise consistent campaign.
Meanwhile, Ricca Autosport teammate Gravett has maintained a strong presence throughout the season, accumulating 155 points in the No. 8 Hyundai Elantra N1 TC EVO. Gravett was the highest-scoring Hyundai driver in Race 2 at Road Atlanta and Race 1 at Road America, while finishing inside the top three of the Hyundai N Trophy Cup in every other round.
The Indianapolis doubleheader will therefore provide a fitting conclusion to a season-long battle between two teammates who have consistently demonstrated the pace and consistency required to contend for the title.
Introduced in 2025 in Austin, Texas, the Hyundai N Trophy Cup has quickly established itself as a meaningful addition to the TC America powered by Skip Barber Racing School paddock. Operating as a championship-within-a-championship, the program provides Hyundai competitors with an additional layer of competition, rewarding the top-finishing Hyundai driver at select rounds throughout the season.
Beyond the on-track competition, the program offers contingency payouts tied to both TC America race results and Hyundai N Trophy Cup finishes, alongside significant end-of-season incentives. The championship winner will earn an invitation to compete in the final round of Hyundai's international one-make series in South Korea, taking on leading Hyundai competitors from around the world.
The Hyundai N Racing Scholar program also returns for 2026 as another important component of the manufacturer's driver development initiative. Designed to identify emerging talent within the TC America paddock, the program provides its selected driver with an opportunity to compete in the legendary Nürburgring 24 Hours with Hyundai as part of the program's commitment to developing the next generation of Hyundai racing talent.
With the championship battle coming down to the final two races, Indianapolis Motor Speedway will provide the stage for Castro and Gravett to settle their season-long fight for Hyundai N Trophy Cup honors.
