Avondale, Louisiana - The TC America powered by Skip Barber racers got off to an early start Saturday morning with qualifying beginning at 8 a.m. at the beautiful NOLA Motorsports Park.
Leading the field in TCX will be the #57 Accelerating Performance BMW M2 CS driven by Stephen Cugliari at the wheel with a lap time of 1:49.867. He was followed in class by Colin Garrett in the #44 Rooster Hall Racing BMW M2 CS with a time of 1:49.910 and Jacob Ruud who put down a lap time of 1:49.990 in the #1 Fast Track Racing BMW M2 CS.
On pole position for the TC class is the #9 Skip Barber Racing Honda Civic Type-R, with a lap time of 1:50.841 with Kevin Boehm at the wheel. He will be followed by the #60 Team MINI JCW of Clay Williams who had a lap time of 1:51.438. Third was the #37 LA Honda World Racing Honda Civic Type-R driven by Mat Pombo who put down a lap time of 1:51.893.
Topping the charts in the TCA class is the #21 TechSport Racing Subaru BRZ, driven by Gresham Wagner with a fastest lap time of 1:56.475. Rounding out the top three will be the #16 Skip Barber Racing School Honda Civic Si, with Carter Fartuch behind the wheel and a lap time of 1:56.990, and the #22 TechSport Racing Subaru BRZ, driven by Devin Anderson with a lap time of 1:57.282.
