Ricca Autosport: Get to Know Matan Rosenberg

Ricca Autosport continues to strengthen its TC America lineup with the addition of Matan Rosenberg, who will compete this season with the official SRO Hyundai USA partner team aboard Hyundai machinery.

Rosenberg joins the program after establishing himself as a proven champion and hands-on competitor, bringing both driving talent and mechanical understanding to the Hyundai platform.

His introduction to the brand began several years ago in the Gridlife paddock before Hyundai connected him with team owner Jeff Ricca and invited him to participate in a Hyundai evaluation test in Indianapolis alongside other emerging drivers.

That opportunity laid the groundwork for his move into Ricca Autosport’s professional development environment—a step Rosenberg sees as pivotal to the next phase of his career.

“Driving is always first,” said Rosenberg, “but to build a long career you also have to focus on fitness, sponsorship, fan engagement, and professionalism. Being part of Ricca Autosport and the Hyundai program allows me to develop all of those areas at a much higher level.”

Born and raised in Pepper Pike, Ohio, Rosenberg developed a comfort around machinery at an early age, operating equipment at his family’s business, Northern Ohio Scrap Services. His passion for mechanical systems translated naturally into motorsports, first on dirt bikes and eventually into cars. A true “Saturday wrencher, Sunday driver,” Rosenberg built much of his early experience working on and developing his own race cars before transitioning into higher levels of competition.

Now entering TC America competition with Ricca Autosport, Rosenberg is eager to apply those lessons within a championship-caliber Hyundai program known for both performance and driver development.

Ricca Autosport, a three-time TC class championship team and the official SRO Hyundai USA partner, continues to emphasize structured growth for its drivers while maintaining a race-winning standard on track. Rosenberg’s mechanical instincts and competitive drive add depth to the team’s 2026 campaign.

“Matan has a rare combination of mechanical instinct and competitive drive,” said Jeff Ricca, Team Owner of Ricca Autosport. “He understands what the car needs, he understands what it takes to improve, and he’s hungry to grow within the Hyundai platform.”

In addition to his TC America efforts, Rosenberg will continue his racing in Gridlife competitions. He’s entering this year into the new GLGT class with the help of partnerships including VP Racing Fuels, Vibrant Performance, and Sennebogen, and he’s actively seeking additional partners to support his racing in SRO.

“I’ve learned how to wear every hat in racing,” Rosenberg added. “Now I’m looking forward to channeling that experience into a more professional setting, pushing myself to improve, and hopefully fighting for strong results with Hyundai and Ricca this season.”

With Hyundai performance behind him and Ricca Autosport’s development infrastructure around him, Rosenberg enters the season focused on growth—and determined to make the most of the opportunity.
